I decided I would create this page to keep all of ya posted on how things are going, special news, and announcements.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Exhibit
We (Hall of Fame Museum, myself, George, and Abbie) have been working on putting together an exhibit for the museum. The Exhibit so far will contain One guitar from George, Toy, and Tommy. It took a little doing but we managed to find 3 instruments to put on loan to the Museum. The exhibit will also contain some other items such as stage outfits, etc. I will keep you posted on the progress and pictures when it is completed. This is a big step in getting the band recognized for induction into the Hall of Fame.
George McCorkle sits in with current MTB in Nashville
George sat in with Doug and the guys at Starwood in Nashville. Marshall Tucker opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd on August 12th to a sold out crowd. George and the guys put on a wonderful show and had the audience begging for more. I was honored to attend and hang out with the guys for a while and get some good pictures.
